Sweet syndrome (SS) or acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis was first described in 1964. Malignancies, autoimmune disease, infections, inflammatory bowel diseases, and medications are possible causes of this syndrome, but sometimes it may be idiopathic. To our knowledge, only few cases of SS induced by radiation therapy have been reported.
