A 65-year-old Caucasian woman presented with a longstanding red and scaly lesion on her left forearm. She became aware of it over the preceding year as it had become redder and occasionally blistered. Her past medical history consisted of Polymyalgia rheumatica and she was taking a reducing dose of oral prednisolone with a current daily dose of 5 mg.
