Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumour (IMT) is a neoplasm of intermediate biological potential [1]. Recently, IMT was defined as a distinctive neoplasm made of myofibroblastic and fibroblastic spindle cells associated with plasma cells, lymphocytes and/or eosinophils [2].
