Translation requests
If you are a publisher and would like to translate one of our books, translate a journal article or publish an English reprint, please fill out the attached form with your request.
If you are a translator, please note that we do NOT licence rights to translators, but only to publishing houses. We strongly suggest that you directly contact a local publishing house of your choice to see if your project is of interest to them. If yes, then please ask them to contact us to make sure that the language rights requested are available. As soon as a licence agreement has been signed between John Libbey Eurotext and your publisher, it will then be able to sign a translation agreement with you.
Permission requests
In order to answer your request as quickly as possible please ensure first of all that the copyright does indeed belong to John Libbey Eurotext. If yes, then complete this form, making sure all required fields are duly completed. We will respond to you accordingly via e-mail or fax within 7 working days.
Please note that there may be permission fees involved depending on the purpose and distribution of the material you are requesting to reproduce.
John Libbey Eurotext book and journal publications are protected by copyright on behalf of our authors and ourselves. The appropriate licence agreement or permission to use our material must be secured in writing (see conditions of use).
